Feliz Navidad A Todos

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!! 

this past christmas week has been so special to me and one that I'll always remember!! we spent the week doing service at salvation army, cleaning broken down apartments, singing christmas songs with other missionaries, finding the coolest new people to teach, eating WAY too much food and spending time with some amazing friends in alta vista!! 

My mission has truly taught me what Christmas is all about and this week as I've been studying Christ's birth I just wanted to share a quote I found.... 

"Because He came to earth, we have a perfect example to follow. As we strive to become more like Him, we will have joy and happiness in our lives and peace each day of the year. It is His example which, if followed, stirs within us more kindness and love, more respect and concern for others."

“Because He came, there is meaning to our mortal existence. “Because He came, we know how to reach out to those in trouble or distress, wherever they may be. “Because He came, death has lost its sting, the grave its victory. We will live again because He came. “Because He came and paid for our sins, we have the opportunity to gain eternal life.” (president thomas s. Monson) I hope you all were able to feel the joy that comes from focusing on the Savior at christmas time!! 

miracle story!!! we started teaching the coolest kid, Manuel! He's 19 and just moved here from colombia a couple months ago. he was living in Utah for a sec so the missionaries taught him a lot there and now he just moved to Vegas and he's already ready to be baptized!!!! so he's supposed to get baptized this coming Friday so EVERYBODY keep him in your prayers

Last update hermana o'conner who's been my comp the past 6 months is leaving me to go home this week:( so I'll be put in a trio this week and then we'll have transfers next week!! crazy stuff, time is flying by!!
