hey people!! not tons of updates this week. I had to talk in sacrament yesterday and I'm SO relieved it's over... if I ever have to speak in a spanish ward I might have a heart attack!!  the biggest thing I learned this week was not letting the little things get to us in life and "don't sweat the small stuff." we're still working with Clint!! his baptism is supposed to be coming up but Satan's just working hard on him and putting all he can at him right now so it's been a hard couple weeks, but he's still striving to be better and preparing for baptism soon. we were able to take Sarah and her granddaughters to a baptism this week and it was SO happy seeing them be there and watching the baptism happen. holaaaa a todos!!  this week during studies I read this awesome talk called "to be a follower of christ" by elder alfred kyungu. my favorite thing I learned from it says, "my counsel is to do the best you can. be wise and be prayerful. go forward with faith." 2 Timothy 1:7 "for god hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind" God is here to guide us every step of the way and as we do the best we can, going forward with faith, he will help us get where he needs us to go!! holaaaaa!! happy valentines day love you all so many things happened this week where i was pretty quick to judge people but yesterday in sacrament meeting, the person speaking shared a quote "be slow to judge, and quick to forgive" this isn't an easy thing to do but I know as we live our lives this way we won't get upset by things very easily!  Janet and Sarah who are supposed to get baptized in a couple weeks went completely MIA on us this week and it was a little frustrating. we finally got ahold of them and they were a little out of it, if ya know what I mean... sooo keep them in your prayers because Satan's working super hard rn! clint is preparing for baptism this month!! he is SO close and we're just trying to help him quit his smoking... he's down to 1 cigarette a day. so he needs all the prayers he can get♡  little tender mercy happened this week- we were street contacting up by the temple and we never do that because all these people are super ric...

hey everybodyyyy this week was crazy busy!! sister bastedo left to Uruguay so we visited all our favorite people! I really found the joy that missionary work brings this week and I know as we keep our focus on God we will become so much happier.  a miracle happened with Clint!! he has been taught for a while and is really trying to prepare for baptism and we had a goal for him to smoke 4 cigarettes a day and on Friday he only smoked 1!! It was a super hard day for him but he did it! I have never seen someone go through so much hardship to get this point but he's doing it and I'm so happy for him!!!! we gave him a pack of gum to try and distract himself hahah.  sarah, janets friend is now on date for baptism too so I'm SO excited for both of them!!!  Daryl who's been taught foreverrr finally reached out to us after being sick for a MONTH. But we were able to have some amazing lessons this week and I really hope things start progressing for him because he is just so ready...
