hola hola!!  happy halloween or feliz día de las brujas(day of the witches) how they say it in spanish. This week was so so good!! full of halloween parties, meetings, temple trip, new roommates, andddd of course lots of missionary work! I read the best quote this week from hank smith that I just wanted to share... "focus your life on jesus christ and you'll find yourself living with genuine happiness and contagious optimism. life will still have challenges, but he can turn any trial into a blessing." Christ is EVERYTHING, take more time to focus on him this week and you'll find yourself being so happy. we had a lesson with our cute friend Gloria and she's getting baptized the beginning of December so keep her in your prayers everybody!!  we also had the most spiritual lesson ever with mynor and Angela! we went to the temple with them and while we were there we invited them to take some time on their own to pray, so they went to a spot and knelt together and praye...

hey hey hey everybody !!!   this week our mission is studying faith and something that president Rodarte has taught and shared over and over again is this quote by Neil L. Anderson,  "faith is a power and it can cause things to happen that need to happen."  I've found that to be SO true on my mission especially this week as we've been working hard and having so much faith we've been able to see so many little miracles happen. we started teaching this cute girl gloria who wants to be baptized soonnn!! the family is inactive and is just starting to come back to church:) we also started teaching jorges cousin Saul and he's SO dope! Super excited about these new people as always pray for them pleaseeee and pray for mynor & Angela. Mynor is literally so close to being baptized!!! LOVE & MISS YOU GUYS ♡ hermana speirs 10/24/22  

heyoooo everyone! MI CORAZÓN ESTA LLENO!!! jorge was baptized this week and it was SO awesome. he was sooooo nervous but afterwards he talked about the joy that he felt. I'm SO happy for him and this life changing decision he's made!  I studied president nelsons recent talk about overcoming the world this week and i lovedddd this quote i wanted to share "Men and women who turn their lives over to God will discover that He can make a lot more out of their lives than they can. He will deepen their joys, expand their vision, quicken their minds, lift their spirits, multiply their blessings, increase their opportunities, comfort their souls, raise up friends, and pour out peace.” He changes us all for the better just like he's changed my friend jorge the past couple months  pray for my favorite people mynor, Angela & karina!! update on robiert he's not ready to be baptized & we aren't teaching him anymore sadly, but I know God has a plan for everyone!  anyw...

heyooo all my favs!  this week our mission got the chance to hear from elder pieper who's in the quorum of the 70. It was such an awesome experience and I literally learned so much from him!! the very first thing he said to us was "the sweetest thing about preaching the gospel is the friends that you make in the process." It really just made me think about the past year and how grateful I am for all the friendships & relationships I've been able to make throughout my mission! these people mean EVERYTHING to me we had transfers this past week and hna o'conner & I are staying together here in alta vista which we're SO happy about. I love it here in alta vista!!  update on our friends -> jorge & robiert are getting baptized this week WAHOO!! please keep jorge in your prayers so he can feel confident & ready!! & please pray for robiert to have extra strength to stop smoking so he can be baptized this week too!! also pleaseee pray for our oth...

HOLA MI GENTE!! I've been a missionary for 1 year wahooo so crazy to me that it's already been a year but I've grown so much & I couldn't be more grateful for my decision to serve a mission! here's a couple of things I've come to learn in the past year... • be grateful for the almosts, it's our efforts that really matter to the Lord!! • don't take the days for granted, look for the God winks/tender mercies every day  • there really is a casino on every street here in Sin City • learning spanish is POSSIBLE!!!  • there's blessings that come from reading your scriptures every day  • a mission is all about the PEOPLE!!! not the place or the things there  • setting goals is what's going to help us grow and progress most in life and #hardisgood • the atonement of jesus christ is the one thing that'll help us through our hard times  • eternal. families. are. everything. ♡ • we don't need to know everything perfectly, just 1% better everyday...
