holaaaaa I hit my 6 months this week wahoooo!! it's been the fastest yet longest months ever hahah but I've gained such a strong testimony of this gospel and I'm excited for all the adventures that'll happen this next year!! fake it til you make it has literally been my motto this week with spanish... it's a struggle but I'll get there someday.  during studies I read a talk by L. Todd Budge and he shared a quote I loved!!! "as we live for god and others by giving our means, our time, and yes, even ourselves, we are leaving the world a little greener, leaving God's children a little happier, and in the process, becoming a little holier." as we put our focus on god and the important things in life, we will make this world BETTER! this week the works been kinda slow. we have a couple people we're teaching not tons of progressing though:( there's one guy named Jesus and he is SOOO cool! he's so ready to be baptized but he's on probation...

I've never prayed for don de lenguas (gift of tongues) more in my life then this week!! my new comp is hermana trujillo and she's the cutest ever but its been a little difficult because she speaks español todo tiempo so hopefully I can pick it up fast!! my go to quote this week has been "keep loving. keep trying. keep trusting. keep believing. keep growing. heaven is cheering you on today, tomorrow, and forever." ♡ I've been putting all my trust in the Lord this week and I know that he is always here to help us we just have to let him!!!!  so many embarrassing things happened this week but here's one... we knocked on a random guy's door and I was asking him if we could come by another time and he said manda? which people from mexico use as what?? because he didn't understand my español.... but instead I took it as oh Monday works okay we'll see you then hahah OOPS.  we're teaching so many awesome people right now! hola everyone!! this week was amazing we had a quorum of the seventy elder alonso come and teach us all week long!! the biggest thing he taught me was the importance of gods love and how we need to implement it into everything we do!! god's love is what helps us find purpose, identity, and direction in our lives♡ SURPRISE! I'm leaving sunrise and going to an area called Ensign in East Las Vegas, near the strip ahhh. It's a spanish area and my new comp is from Colombia so time for me to finally learn some spanish. I'm so sad to leave these people here but I know the Lord needs me somewhere else now! Clint had his baptismal interview this week and he's soooo close he's just working on his smoking still. we're doing everything we can to help him, but everyone lots of prayers for clint!! hola a todos!!  celebrated my birthday this week wahoooo!! never thought I'd be in sin city on my 20th birthday but here i am hahah. this birthday was for sure one I'll remember. we went over to a Brazilian members house for dinner and everyone was speaking Portuguese so ya I had no idea what was happening but it was a good memory.  nothin like having a spiritual lesson with someone and then having rats run across you.... I saw one and then I was like wait is that really a rat?!? and then 5 more ran across!!!! I was freaking out but couldn't ruin the lesson so I just sat there biting my tongue hahaha. learning to be outside my comfort zone here that's for sure...  a lot of the people we're teaching this week went from progressing a ton to basically going backwards and it was super easy to get discouraged but I found this quote and it helped so much, "faith is for the future. faith builds on the past but never longs to stay there. faith trusts that God has great...
