Elda!!!!

heyooo everyone!!

this week was so so good. 1st highlight was my favorite person ever elda got baptized this week!! for those who don't remember her, I taught her husband chalo in my last area desert bloom while elda was 9 months pregnant. we taught her for a little bit after that but she just wasn't ready yet. And now her time has come and I'm SO HAPPY FOR THEM!! can't wait for their cute little family to get sealed in the temple

some other highlights were I got to celebrate the life of one of the best people I met on my mission sis bowden, had so many of our friends come to church, went to MLC, helped gloria prepare for her baptism in 2 weeks, seeing all the christmas lights & decorations up

I'm feeling so grateful to be on my mission at this time of year. we've been able to show the light the world video & focus on christ a lot this past week. one of the best things I've studied over the course of my mission is the living christ & this part has kept coming back to me this week... "He is the light, the life, and the hope of the world. His way is the path that leads to happiness in this life and eternal life in the world to come. God be thanked for the matchless gift of His divine Son." everyone take time this week to remember the true meaning of christmas!!
