CHALO!!!!
heyyyy everybody
this week I learned the importance of going out of my comfort zone. I was studying about the children of Israel in personal study and how they literally just had to rely on the Lord in everywhere they were going. "The lord was not teaching them how to be comfortable. He was teaching them how to follow him, and trust him new each day." A mission is not comfortable haha but i'm learning to rely on him EVERY step of the way!!
Chalo got baptized and it was the most spirit filled baptism ever!! He looked like the happiest person ever and then I looked over at his wife and she had tears in her eyes! Her heart is definitely softening and I hope in the future she'll be ready to take this next step too. she also had her baby this week so we got to go to the hospital and see her and the baby
another crazy story.... sooo the past couple weeks my comp and I have been feeling like we needed to drive to the bottom of our area which is primm on the border of cali, it's kind of a far drive from everything else around here but we just felt a strong prompting to go the other night. So we spent half the night driving down there and not really sure what we were doing. We get there and walk around and then walk into this convenient store, primm center and as we're walking around this guy working there comes and asks all about our church and what we believe and was so interested!! His name is Fabio and he is SO ready for the gospel in his life. I'm so grateful the spirit guided us all way down there!
